UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN TO EXCHANGE STUDENTS, STAFF WITH AUSTRALIA VARSITIES.

The University of Ibadan and  the  Australian  University  will  exchange  staff and students.  The  University of Ibadan  exchanges   students   and  staff with  Australian   universities. 

  The   announcement   was   made   by   the  Nigerian High Commissioner  for  Australia, New Zealand,  Fiji,  Papua New Guinea,  Banatsu  and the  Pacific,  Anderson  Madhubike,  during a courtesy  call   at  the University of Ibadan (UI).

  He   replaced   Professor   Kayode   O,  the  vice-chancellor,   with   Madubike.   Ezequiel   Orsola   Ayora  Vice Chancellor  (Administration)   Professor   Adebo   Weir  said  the  visit was to  promote   student   and   faculty  exchange  programs  between UI and Australian universities. 

 He said  a special delegation from the country  will   visit   the  UI,  the  University of Lagos (UNILAG) and  the  University of  Nigeria   Nsukka  in October  2023  to further explore  cooperation  and  partnership   opportunities.  

 Ayora  assured  visitors  that UI is  ready to  cooperate  with other universities.  He said the  university's  current  governance   builds   on  the achievements of  past  administrations,  laying a solid foundation for the  university's   future.
